Cameras are currently rolling on My Mother’s Wedding, that Kristin Scott Thomas is set to direct: more here.

In 2017, it was reported that BAFTA winning actress Kristin Scott Thomas would make her directorial debut with an adaptation of Elizabeth Jane Howard’s novel The Sea Change.

This, however, is not that project. Thomas’ directorial debut is in fact a screenplay she herself co-wrote with John Micklethwait, who is better known as an economist and historian.

Plot details are being kept firmly under wraps, but we do know that it is called My Mother’s Wedding.

The cast is made up on an incredible ensemble too – Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller, Emily Beecham and Freida Pinto are all on board.

The film is currently in production, with a release date yet to be announced.
