Sony action thriller Bullet Train continues to speed towards production with a cast that grows more exciting with each announcement.
The cast for the Brad Pitt-headlined action thriller Bullet Train, has been steadily building. And frankly, it’s only looking more and more impressive with each added name.
Already starting in the film alongside Pitt are Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Joey King, Andrew Koji, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz and Masi Oka. Now, it’s been announced that Lady Gaga will be joining the cast too, according to Collider.
Directed by David Leitch, helmer of Deadpool 2, the Sony film is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle by Kitaro Isaka. The plot centres around a self-contained story that ‘follows a group of assassins with conflicting motives aboard a fast-moving train in Tokyo.’
Whilst not confirmed, it’s been reported that Gaga, who is also featuring in Ridley Scott’s upcoming Gucci, will play one of the assassins in a smaller role rather than the lead. Still, it’s an exciting ensemble cast to be part of and we’re increasingly looking forward to seeing what happens with this one. More news as we have it.
