Arnold Schwarzenegger-headlined Last Action Hero is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK this May.

Now, where do you stand on this one? Last Action Hero, from all the way back in 1993, was the movie that broke Arnold Schwarzenegger’s then apparently non-stop box office climb. But – and this is a film coming up on our podcast in due course – lots happened with this one. It took a swing, and it didn’t quite hit, whilst Jurassic Park utterly battered it at the box office.

Yet I still think it’s a good film this, and certainly a risky one. And now it’s been lined up for the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray treatment.

The film arrives on the format in the UK on May 17th – which is proving to be quite a day for catalogue 4K titles – and you can find out more about the release and order a copy here.

No fresh extra features are expected, but it’ll carry across the Blu-ray from the film’s previous release.
