With the ninth Saw film heading to cinemas in the UK shortly, plans are already afoot for Saw 10 it seems.

Next month, we finally get the cinema release of the ninth movie in the Saw franchise, going by the name Spiral: From The Book Of Saw. The movie features Chris Rock and Samuel L Jackson, and was of course one of the many films delayed by, well, y’know.

It’s the first Saw film since 2017’s Jigsaw, but it looks as though Twisted Pictures isn’t hanging around if it needs to turn another movie in the series around. As spotted by JobLo, Production Weekly magazine has listed Saw X as being in development at Twisted, with Oren Koules and Mark Burg again on producing duties.

Presumably work is getting going on the assumption that the new film hits, and if it doesn’t it’s unlikely to cause too much loss to quietly squirrel the project away. We’ll have a clearer idea once Spiral finally lands at cinemas…
