Rian Johnson’s acclaimed Looper is coming to the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format in the UK this July, it’s been confirmed.

The differing companies distributing Rian Johnson’s sci-fi hit Looper in the UK and the US meant we weren’t entirely sure whether this particular 4K disc release would go ahead over here. After all, Sony Pictures has the US distribution rights, and had announced the film for 4K Blu-ray in the States. Thankfully, the UK rights holder – Entertainment One – has now scheduled the film for a 4K disc debut in Britain too.

Looper, starring Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt, will thus be landing on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK on Monday July 12th. It’ll come with a Blu-ray in the box as well, presumably carrying over the extras from the last release of the film.

The disc is available for preorder now, and you can do that – and find out more details of the release – right here.
