Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are teaming up again – the duo’s next film, The Wager, will tell a tale of survival on the high seas.
Martin Scorsese’s next project has been confirmed. After Killers Of The Flower Moon, which has recently been delayed until 2023, Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio are teaming up once again.
The Wager follows the crew of a British naval ship in the 1740s, as they fight to survive after they are shipwrecked on a remote island in South America. They must battle not only the elements, but the darkest aspects of human nature.
DiCaprio is the only confirmed cast member, with a screenwriter yet to be attached to adapt the book, The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny, and Murder by David Grann, who also wrote Killers Of The Flower Moon.
