Mia Wasikowska and Damon Herriman lead Judy & Punch, and the first trailer has landed.

It’s premiering at the London Film Festival this weekend, but us ordinary folk can get to see the terrific-looking Judy & Punch too when it lands in UK cinemas in November.

The film inverts the Punch and Judy story, with Mia Wasikowska and Damon Herriman taking the leading roles, in a film written and directed by Mirrah Foulkes.

A trailer and official synopsis for the movie have just been released, so we’ll crack on if it’s all the same, and bring you both of those. Have the trailer first…

And look! Here’s the synopsis!

In the outlandish town of Seaside, located nowhere near the coast, puppeteers Judy and Punch are trying to resurrect their marionette show. The show is a hit due to Judy’s superior puppeteering, but Punch’s driving ambition and penchant for a drink lead to an ill-fated turn of events that Judy must avenge.

The film lands in UK cinemas on November 22nd.
