Sylvester Stallone will star in Little America, with Michael Bay one of those behind the camera.
This has never happened before. Both Michael Bay and Sylvester Stallone have enjoyed several successes across their respective careers in action cinema. But for the first time, they’re coming together for a movie together.
It’s not quite Michael Bay directing, as instead he’s executive producing through his Platinum Dunes banner. Instead, Rowan Athale will write and direct a film called Little America, in which Stallone is set to star.
The film is set in a bankrupt future, with America pretty much at war with itself. Stallone will take on the role of an army vet who is hired by a rich person to find his daughter.
It’s likely to be shooting this year, and a release of 2021 is likely. More as we hear it.
