A 31-disc collection of the Lord Of The Rings and Hobbit films is confirmed for UK release this October: more details here.

Followers of the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format might recall that when Warner Bros announced it was bringing The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings to the format last year, it did so with the promise that a deluxe collector’s set would follow in 2021.

Well, it’s taken quite a while, but that deluxe set is now up for order. And, bluntly, it’s going to cost you a few quid.

The new set comes with 31 discs, including the theatrical and extended editions of all six films and the host of extras that primarily we’ve seen before. The UK release has now been set for October 25th 2021, and the price tag is a cool £200. You can find more information on it all right here, and order a copy too.
