Roland Emmerich’s Moonfall is heading to DVD and Blu-ray in the UK this April – and more details are right here.

Roland Emmerich’s latest sci-fi disaster movie, Moonfall, may not be earning sizeable critical plaudits, but few of the people who’ve been to see it have left without a grin on their face. It’s the kind of film where it’s hard to deny most of the criticisms aimed at it, but also hard not to have a good time watching it.

The movie cost nine figures to make, money that was independently sourced outside of the studio system. Thus far to date it’s grossed just over $30m worldwide, but it’s going to find a much larger audience on home formats and streaming. Thankfully, we’re not going to have to wait too long either.

The DVD and Blu-ray release of Moonfall, in the US at least, has now been earmarked for April 25th 2022. No 4K disc release is planned in the UK that we can see. What we don’t have at this stage are any details of extra features and such like. Just that the film is on its way to disc, and it’s available to preorder now.

You can find out more, and preorder a copy, right here.
