Jared Leto and Matt Smith star in Morbius – and the first trailer has landed.
Sony continues to build towards a universe of Spider-Man spin-off movies, with Venom already a huge hit, and Venom 2 currently filming for release in 2021.
But next up is the movie of Morbius, played by Jared Leto in the upcoming blockbuster. The film is due in cinemas this summer, with Life and Safe House director Daniel Espinosa calling the shots. And the first trailer for the movie landed yesterday. Here’s what’s in store…
There’s an official synopsis too, and that reads as follows…
One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.
