The psychological thriller Windfall is set to hit our screens just over a month from now and you can catch your first glimpse right here.
Netflix has launched the trailer for its upcoming psychological thriller movie, Windfall. The film is set to make its debut on the streaming service on March 18th. The creative team behind this one is pretty impressive, with Jason Segel having developed the story alongside director Charlie McDowell, who also helmed The One I Love. Screenplay duties have been handled by Justin Lader and Se7en's Andrew Kevin Walker.
In the film, ‘Segel plays a man who breaks into the vacation home of a wealthy couple (The Irishman's Jesse Plemons and Emily in Paris’ Lily Collins) who show up while he is still there. He takes the pair hostage, but soon it becomes clear not all is at it may seem.’
The trailer certainly has an element of Hitchcock about it, with a modern noir feeling that might just make this tense three-hander one to pop on your watchlist, ahead of its launch next month. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
