The upcoming family film Yes Day looks set to explore every parent’s aspiration – and their worst nightmare as well.

Netflix has launched the trailer for Yes Day ahead of the film’s March 12th release. Jennifer Garner and Edgar Ramirez star as parents who, fed up with always saying ‘no’ to their three children, decide that for 24 hours, they will only say ‘yes’.

As the trailer showcases, the desire to prove to their children that they aren’t just over-the-hill stuck-in-the-muds leads to their children dictating 24 hours of their lives. The results certainly look like a fun watch. Based on a popular children’s book of the same title by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and illustrated by Tom Lichtenheld, the film adaptation has been directed by The Good Girl's Miguel Arteta.

Here’s the trailer for the film, as well as the official synopsis. Synopsis first….

Always feeling like they have to say “No” to their kids and co-workers, Allison and Carlos decide to give their three kids a “Yes Day” — where, for 24 hours, the kids make the rules. Little did they know that they’d be going on a whirlwind adventure around Los Angeles, that would bring the family closer to each other than ever before.

And then the trailer…

If any parents out there have ever tried a ‘yes day’, how did it compare the the trailer? Let us know in the comments below…
