Get your first glimpse at high-concept science fiction thriller Oxygen, before the film drops on the Netflix service next month.
Netflix has released the trailer for Oxygen, a French science fiction drama that is set to release on the streaming platform on May 12th.
In the film, a woman awakens in a cryogenic pod with no memory of who she is. As her oxygen slowly runs out, she faces a race against time to discover her identity and the means to escape a grim fate. If you’re a fan of claustrophobic thrillers, like 2010’s Buried, this one might be of particular interest to you.
The film is directed by Alexandre Aja, whose most recent film was the rather entertaining Crawl, which released back in 2019. Melanie Laurent stars in the movie, having replaced Noomi Rapace, who in turn replaced Anne Hathaway on the project. Laurent returns to Netflix for her second film in a row, having last appeared in 6 Underground.
With the film set to release next month, check out the trailer below to get a glimpse of what to expect.
