The Russo Brothers’ next project is set for a July release, with the highly-anticipated The Gray Man – a film rich in facial hair.

Set to launch on Netflix in July with a limited cinema run beforehand, The Gray Man is an action thriller featuring Ryan Gosling as a former CIA operator codenamed the Gray Man who has gone rogue. When he accidentally uncovers hidden agency secrets, Chris Evans’ cold-eyed killer and his former colleague is sent on a mission is to stop him. They both sport pretty good facial hair too, for what it’s worth.

The lead casting for this one is pretty stellar. Gosling does a very good stone-faced hero, but he might just have met his match in Evans who we’re looking forward to seeing step back out of the hero mould. The supporting cast is promising too, with Rege-Jean Page, Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick, and Alfre Woodard all set to appear.

The film has reportedly cost $200m and it is expected to launch a series for Netflix in the same fashion that the Charlize Theron-starring The Old Guard did.

The film is set to release on Netflix on 22nd July. You can catch the trailer below.
