Andrew Dominik’s Blonde, a part-fact, part-fiction retelling of Marilyn Monroe’s life starring Ana de Armas, now has a full trailer.

Following a brief teaser that was released back in June, Netflix has now dropped the full trailer for Blonde, starring Ana de Armas as the iconic and beloved Marilyn Monroe.

Writer and director Andrew Dominik has helmed the film which boasts some stunning cinematography courtesy of Chayse Irvin. The film is coming to Netflix on September 28th and interest will surely be high to see how the film chooses to portray such a legend of the silver screen. Perhaps more than any other icon of popular culture from her era,  there is so much mythology around Monroe that it becomes almost impossible to separate the woman from the legend and we’re curious to see how Dominik and his collaborators will choose to tackle that, given that the film has been described as ‘a blend of fact and fiction.’

Based on the novel of the same name by Joyce Carol Oates, the film is set to be a ‘reimagining of the professional and personal life of the enduring Hollywood icon.’ Blonde also also features Adrien Brody as Arthur Miller, Bobby Cannavale as baseball legend, Joe DiMaggio, Evan Williams, Julianne Nicholson, Xavier Samuel, Scoot McNairy, Garret Dillahunt and Lucy DeVito. Check out the trailer below ahead of the film’s release in September.
