Freida Pinto and Logan Marshall Green star in the upcoming thriller Intrusion – and here’s the first trailer for it.
Netflix has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming thriller, Home Invasion, which is set to hit the streaming platform on September 22nd. The film is directed by Adam Salky and features Logan Marshall Green, who starred in the excellent Upgrade. Freida Pinto also stars, who we’ve seen before in Knight of Cups and Slumdog Millionaire.
Salky has talked about the film previously, telling Decider that Pinto’s character, Meera, is a breast cancer survivor in the film. “In the wake of her remission, Meera and Henry moved to a small town away from Boston to reconnect and start this new chapter in life where she’s healthy. When their house gets broken into twice in so many days, it makes Meera start to question why they moved to this place, and who the people around her really are. The movie is about the terrifying unknowability of people”, runs the description.
Salky also revealed that finding the film’s central location, a house in New Mexico, at the height of the pandemic, was like “finding a needle in a haystack”. He added “that house is not the architectural style of Albuquerque, but a fortuitous thing happened: the cinematographer was at the grip’s rental house, and he asked the owner of the house if he knew of any modern homes in the area. And he said ‘h, yeah, my best friend owns this house!’”
