Craig Hinde and Marc Zammit complete filming on their new film Witch, ahead of its 2022 release – more information right here.

We’ve talked about director Marc Zammit before on this site, with his debut feature Homeless Ashes getting a release a year or two back after a battle and a half to get it over the line. Zammit, who’d already at this stage built up a fair number of acting credits, got the film into UK cinemas and it’s well worth checking out.

Now he’s turned his attention to Witch, a movie he’d been trying to get off the ground for some time. He’s directed it along with Craig Hinde this time, and the cast for the movie includes Russell Shaw, Sarah Alexandra Marks, Ryan Spong, Fabrizio Santino, Mims Burton, Anto Sharp, Daniel Jordan, Jane Hamlet, Daniel Howard and Nell Bailey.

What’s more, the film has now wrapped production in Hungary, and it’s gone into post-production. The plan is to have the movie read for spring 2022, with a global release planned.

We’ll have more on that shortly. For the minute, here’s the synopsis and a few more behind the scenes images…

Set in Dawnbrook, England in 1575, William must prove the innocence of his wife Twyla, who stands accused of being a witch. William must hunt down the real witch if Twyla is to be spared, but unearthly events make them both look doomed.
