A fresh take on the boxing redemption story is agonisingly close to meeting its funding goal – more details on the film right here.

Up and coming director, Isaac Tomiczek, is close to reaching the funding goal on Kickstarter for his first feature film, Taylor.

With just three days to go the project is currently well on the way to achieving its £20,000 goal, but may need a little help to get over the line. The story of a bullied gay teenager who finds hope through boxing, Taylor will mark Tomiczek’s first foray into feature film directing, although his short films and TV writing have already marked him out as a storyteller with huge potential.

Described as ‘an uplifting and life-affirming coming-of-age film about friendship, acceptance, and having pride in who you are’, Taylor is being backed by Firework Productions. The project is close to meeting its goal, but may need one last push to get over the line. Support the project by backing it or simply sharing, but do take a look.

You can find the Kickstarter page for Taylor here.
