Entries are now open for the first Black Country Horror Shorts Film Festival.

On January 25th 2020, the first Black Country Horror Shorts Film Festival will be taking place in the West Midlands. It’s an event for the region’s filmmakers to send in and showcase their movies, founded by two local horror fans, Alan Birch and Alan Smith.

They’ve come together as Weeping Bank Productions, a small local entertainment company dedicated to spooky stories, and the festival comes with a prize of £200 and a crate of beer for the winner, with three runners-up prizes.

It takes place in Stourbridge, not a million miles away from the home of Film Stories as it happens. More details on the festival, includng details of how to enter, can be found here.

The deadline for entries is December 14th, and it costs £10 to submit a short film to the festival.
