SpongeBob Squarepants: Sponge On The Run makes its Netflix debut, after skipping – for pandemic reasons – its planned theatrical release.
The third entry in the SpongeBob movie series is available to watch on Netflix UK, as of today.
Whilst Americans have to wait a little longer at least to discover who will be the next President of the United States, there’s also another waiting game being played out in the States. That’s because Netflix is releasing the movie pretty much everywhere but America.
What that does mean, is that for UK fans of SpongeBob, you can catch his latest flick, Sponge On The Run from today, on Netflix.
As reported by Cartoon Brew, the film has launched globally on the streaming platform with the exception of America. Canadians had a chance to see the film when it played in cinemas in August. SpongeBob fans in the US however, will have to wait for a premium VoD launch sometime next year.
The film is the third instalment in the popular franchise and the first to use the shiny, new CG-style art that you can see in the image at the top of this story. It’s available to watch now.
