Want to see more of this upcoming clash of the titans? Here’s the latest trailer for Godzilla Vs Kong.

If you’ve ever been a comic book fan, you’ll be used to two of the ‘good guys’ duking it out, usually over some misunderstanding. In order to protect both brands however, no decisive victor was ever usually pronounced. Batman and Superman would clash but at a vital moment the space vampires would appear and they’d be forced to put aside their differences and team up.

What makes the upcoming Godzilla Vs Kong so interesting is that we’ve already been told that there will be a clear winner in this dust up, as the film’s final trailer makes abundantly clear.

With the size of Godzilla and Kong, it feels like a cinema screen is needed just to contain their sheer scale. But with an April 1st premium video on demand release planned in the UK, we will instead be watching this one from the comfort of our homes. The story behind this ultimate showdown is something of a standoff itself. When distributor Warner Bros, elected to move its entire 2021 theatrical slate over to a dual release in cinemas and on its HBO Max streaming platform, Legendary Entertainment, the film’s main financiers, were distinctly unimpressed and threatened legal action.

That matter is now believed to be settled

The film itself is described as such:

As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.’The film features Millie Bobby Brown and Kyle Chandler from King of Monsters, along with Alexander Skarsgård (The Stand), Rebecca Hall (Christine), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), Shun Oguri (Gintamai), Eiza González (Baby Driver), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist), Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2), and Demián Bichir (The Hateful Eight).
