The trailer for hotly anticipated Nicolas Cage film Pig has finally arrived.

One of the busiest actors in the business Nicolas Cage is back with another new film, this time the ominous Pig. Released by Neon, the film follows Cage as a truffle hunter who lives alone in the Oregonian wilderness. He must return to his past in Portland in search of his beloved foraging pig after she is kidnapped.

Directed by Michael Sarnoski from a script he co-wrote with Vanessa Block, it marks the feature length debut for both. It looks as though it has the potential to be on the more serious side of absurd for Cage, with Alex Wolff (Hereditary) and Alan Arkin (Sons Of Anarchy) co-starring.

The trailer speaks for itself, so we’ll leave you with it below.

Pig has a July release date in America, with a UK date still to be determined.
