Here’s the trailer for the new Nicolas Cage movie, Colour Out Of Space.

One of the latest features on Nicolas Cage’s ever-crowded slate is the new film from Richard Stanley. It’s his first non-documentary movie for over 20 years too, following his 90s movies Hardware and Dust Devil.

The one’s called Color Out Of Space, and it’s based on the H P Lovecraft short story. Cage takes the lead in a cast that also includes Joely Richardson, Madeleine Arthur and Brendan Meyer.

And a first trailer for the movie has landed, too, along with an official synopsis. Here’s what’s in store…

Here’s the synopsis too…

After a meteorite lands in the front yard of their farm, Nathan Gardner (Nicolas Cage) and his family find themselves battling a mutant extraterrestrial organism as it infects their minds and bodies, transforming their quiet rural life into a living nightmare. Based on the classic H.P. Lovecraft short story, Color Out of Space is “gorgeous, vibrant and terrifying” (Jonathan Barkan, Dread Central).

The film arrives in UK cinemas early next year, although an exact release date hasn’t been confirmed. More as we hear it…
