Nicole Kidman is heading back to Amazon Studios to headline the thriller Holland, Michigan, which will see her take on a town full of secrets.

After starring as Lucille Ball in Amazon’s Being The Ricardos last year, earning her an Oscar nomination and a Golden Globe win in the process, Nicole Kidman is reteaming with the studio to produce and star in Holland, Michigan

The script, written by Andrew Sodroski, topped 2013’s Black List, the film industry’s countdown of the best as yet unproduced screenplays.

Little is known about the plot at this stage, except that it is described as Hitchcockian, and that it will focus on the secrets buried deep beneath a Midwestern town.

Mimi Cave, who scored a hit earlier this year with horror comedy Fresh, will direct.

A release date has not yet been announced, but we’ll update you as we hear more.
