Nomadland heads to physical media in the UK next week, with the Best Picture Oscar winner heading to DVD and Blu-ray in the UK.

Notwithstanding the fact that it won three of the major Oscars at this year’s Academy Awards – including Best Picture – Nomadland like many films had to content itself with debuting on streaming here in the UK. It launched on Disney+ Star, although to its credit Disney also made the film available to cinemas as well.

Furthermore, even though it’s done so with no fanfare whatsoever, Disney has listed the film for DVD and Blu-ray release. What’s more, it’s arriving in a week.

There’s no 4K version, we should note, but Nomadland is available to order now on physical media, with a June 28th release date marked. From what we can tell, there’s no extra features you’re getting for your money though, as it looks like a fairly barren release. Still, we’re not quibbling about physical media releases: you can find out more and preorder a copy here.
