Michelle Heaton headlines Cinderella, that’s heading into a handful of Odeon Cinemas this coming Christmas – more details here.

Following the lead taken by Peter Duncan – who has filmed a version of Jack And The Beanstalk and booked it into two cinemas chains – Odeon Cinemas has now moved too to plug the gap left by theatres being unable to put on pantomimes this Christmas.

It’s joined forces with a company by the name of Curtis Productions for a telling of the story of Cinderella – in panto form. Headlined by Michelle Heaton, of the popular pop combo Liberty X, the show “will feature a blend of live action performances from the cast with scenic and interactive projections beamed onto ODEON’s cutting-edge screens to enhance the production and immerse audiences into the fairy tale”.

Not quite sure what that sentence means in truth, but it sounds all rather exciting.

The show will be appearing at select Odeon venues around the UK, running from Friday 18th December through to Sunday 3rd January. At the moment, those are in Stoke, Manchester, Wimbledon and London, but don’t be surprised if more venues get added.
