One of the very last films of the late Rutger Hauer is getting its UK release this coming summer – more details here.

The said loss of Rutger Hauer last year left us with a list of films to very much enjoy rewatching, and one or two more that he’d shot, but hadn’t yet been released.

One of those has now turned up on the UK release schedule, and it goes by the name of Break. In it, Hauer plays a returned member of the gangland, who happens to own a snooker hall.

The movie has been directed by Michael Elkin, and it stars Sam Gittins, David Yip and David Foreman. It’s now been scheduled for released in the UK on August 31st, getting a DVD debut courtesy of Break Films.

Here’s the trailer for the movie…

And the boxart looks like this.

More details, and preordering, can be found right here. One further appearance, in the film Emperor, remains in post-production. More on that when we get it.
