As things stand, after a fair mix of follow-ups in recent times, Pixar’s upcoming slate is full of standalone original movies. Next up is Onward, that’s directed by Dan Scanlon, and heading into cinemas early next year.

Boasting the voices of Tom Holland and Chris Pratt, a new trailer for the movie has surfaced. And there’s a synopsis too. We’ll get on with it, then: here’s the trailer first…

Here’s the previous trailer, that landed in October…

And the synopsis reads…

Set in a suburban fantasy world, Disney and Pixar’s “Onward” introduces two teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there. Pixar Animation Studios’ all-new original feature film is directed by Dan Scanlon and produced by Kori Rae—the team behind “Monsters University.” “Onward” releases in theaters on March 6, 2020.

Onward lands in cinemas in March 2020.
