The Paranormal Activity revival remains on course for next year.

Well, it looks pretty certain now that after being rested for a few years, the Paranormal Activity franchise is on its way back. 2015 was the last movie in the series to date – that one was The Ghost Dimension – but now the story is set to be picked back up for the thus-far unnamed Paranormal Activity 7.

The movie, it’s been revealed, will be penned by Christopher Landon, who most recently wrote and directed both Happy Death Day and Happy Death Day 2 U. Whether he’s going to direct the new Paranormal Activity as well as write it remains to be seen.

The title of the movie will change, that’s also been confirmed. And thus far, the film has a release date of March 19th 2021. The news was broken in the most recent episode of The Evolution Of Horror podcast, and you can hear that right here.
