The Paranormal Activity series returns to cinemas in 2021.
Lest you though the Paranormal Activity franchise of movies had run its course, Paramount Pictures is bringing it back to life with a seventh film in the series. Once an annual fixture on the release calendar, we’ve not had a new Paranormal Activity film since 2015’s Paranormal Activity: Ghost Dimension 3D. And the series will have been off screen for half a decade before it actually returns.
The studio has inked in March 9th 2021 in the US for the new film in the series. Quite what it is remains to be seen. Will it be a sequel? That seems unlikely, with our best guess – and it’s just that at the moment – being that the new film will be some kind of reboot.
Either way, expect it be a modestly budgeted film that makes the usual decent profit for all concerned. And presumably, further sequels will follow if this one does well. More as we hear it.
