Katie Holmes and Patrick Stewart star in Coda, and the first trailer has landed.

Cunningly time to ride the wave of publicity Patrick Stewart is enjoying for his return to the world of Star Trek with Picard this week, a trailer had landed too for a new indie drama that he’s shot.

The film in question is Coda, directed by Claude Lalonde. It features Stewart as a pianist with a bout of stage fright, looking for inspiration. And he seems to find it with a music critic, played by Katie Holmes.

It’s an independent movie this, that also features Giancarlo Esposito, Letitia Brookes and Drew Davis. It’s getting a video on demenad release in the US in the next week or two. There’s no news yet on when we can expect to see it in the UK. We’ll keep you posted, though.

Here’s the trailer…
