Indie darling Paul Dano has signed on to play a role in Steven Spielberg’s latest film, a semi-autobiographical feature based on his childhood.
According to Deadline, Dano has been cast in the directors latest film, playing a major role inspired by Spielberg’s father. Already signed on to the film are Seth Rogen and Michelle Williams, as characters inspired by the director’s Uncle and mother respectively.
It’s the first time Dano will have worked with the trio, but a reunion of sorts for Rogen and Williams who were previously seen together in Sarah Polley’s Take This Waltz.
