Paul Verhoeven’s Black Book is heading back to the Blu-ray format in the UK in early 2021, with a fair collection of extra features too.

After a run of American movies came to an end with Hollow Man in the year 2000, director Paul Verhoeven’s work was away from the big screen for six years until the film Black Book arrived. He went back to his native Holland to get the movie made and his di4rectorial career back up and running, and the acclaimed movie starred Carice van Houten in the lead role.

It’s a film that was released on Blu-ray in limited edition form – with a  DVD bundled in as well – a few years ago. But 101 Films is now reissuing the movie in a Blu-ray package, and it’s available to order now.

The release is earmarked for January 11th 2021, and it comes with some new extra features, as well as some previously-published material too. Here’s the list…

Brand New Extras

  • The Book of Verhoeven: Paul Verhoeven on Black Book
  • Diary of a Cinematographer: Karl Walter Lindenlaub on Black Book

 Additional Extras

  • Interview with Carice van Houten (2006)
  • Interview with Paul Verhoeven (2006)
  • Original theatrical trailer
