She’s done her work on the next James Bond film – and now Phoebe Waller-Bridge is penning a movie of her own.
Off the back of the huge success of both Fleabag and Killing Eve, Phoebe Waller-Bridge is a creative talent very much in demand. It’s well known that Daniel Craig specifically asked for her to come in and do some punch-up work on the screenplay for the now-filming James Bond 25. And as it turns out, that’s not the only movie project on her slate.
She’s confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that she’s now writing a feature film, although she isn’t going to seek funding for it until she’s nailed the script. Furthermore, she wants the film to have a theatrical release, which means that Netflix can put its chequebook away for a start.
She’s not revealed details as of yet as to what the film is, although concedes she’ll likely appear in the movie too.
