British sci-fi Quatermass is on its way back to the pictures.
Classic British sci-fi Quatermass is coming back to the screen, with news of a reboot underway at Legendary Entertainment and Hammer.
The Night Manager’s David Farr is writing the new production, that Simon Oakes is set to produce. They will find their own take on the story of rocket scientist Bernard Quatermass, who so far has been the subject of a trio of previous Hammer features, as well as a BBC TV series.
As of yet, there’s no news on who’s going to direct the new Quatermass, nor who’s set to headline the movie. Early days, then, but one very much worth keeping an eye on.
