Heading to Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray at the end of this month in the UK is Darren Aronofsky’s film of Requiem For A Dream: details here.
Here’s a cheery film to settle down with over the festive period. Lionsgate has announced that the UK will be getting the planned Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray release of Darren Aronofsky’s movie, Requiem For A Dream.
His adaptation of Hubert Selby Jr’s novel, the movie features Jared Leto, Ellen Burstyn, Jennifer Connelly and Marlon Wayans. If you’ve ever seen it, you certainly don’t need me to describe it you. If you haven’t? Well, it’s an acclaimed, pretty unforgettable piece of cinema.
The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray has been confirmed for November 30th 2020 in the UK. A new Blu-ray release lands on that day, too. And it also comes with some new extra features:
- On Set: 1999
- Transcendent Moments: The Score of Requiem for a Dream
- Ellen Burstyn on Requiem for a Dream through their eyes: Revisiting Requiem for a Dream
Note that only the 4K version comes with the Director’s Cut version of the film.
