Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City heads to video on demand in the UK January, and to physical media in February: more here.

Count me amongst those who quite enjoyed the latest film based in and around the Resident Evil videogames. Entitled Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City, it felt slower and more atmospheric than the last series of movies. And whilst I wouldn’t contend it’s a classic, I thought it was good fun.

The film heads to home formats in the UK over the coming weeks anyway, with Sony announcing that it’ll be available on video on demand services to buy from January 31st. Then, on February 7th, you’ll be able to rent it via on demand services, as well as buy the film on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.

A few extra features are included on the Blu-ray and 4K editions. They’re as follows…

  • Replicating the DNA
  • Cops, Corpses and Chaos
  • Zombies, Lickers and the Horrors of Resident Evil

You can find more information on the film, and its listing to order it, here.
