Perfect Strangers is a new romcom set in a very snowy Scotland during the festive period – more details on the project right this way.

A brand new romantic comedy set in Scotland is on the way, and we now learn too that the worldwide rights to the project have been snapped up.

The film in question is called Perfect Strangers, and it stars Natalie Clark, Kenny Boyle, Sylvester McCoy, Clare Grogan, Sanjeev Kohli, Frazer Hines and Caitlin Blackwood. It comes from director Ryan Hendrick, who also penned the script along with Clare Sheppard.

The film tells the story of a pair of strangers who find themselves stranded in a snowstorm on the Scottish Highlands on Christmas Eve. Neither has had a great time of late, and they decide to join forces in an effort to get home in time for Christmas Day.

The film was shot at the start of the year, and post production on the movie took place during lockdown. Now, sales company Mrs Smith has bought up the worldwide rights to the movie, which means it’s now on the path to getting distributed too.

As we hear more about the film, we’ll let you know. Not least when we get a release date.
