Locksmith Animation’s Ron’s Gone Wrong will be available on DVD, Blu-ray and Disney+ this December: more details here.

The debut film from Britain’s latest feature animation studio, Locksmith Animation, is the delightful Ron’s Gone Wrong, that’s currently playing in cinemas around the UK. It’s been quite a journey to get it this far – it was originally a project set up at Fox, before Disney bought it up – and the film is very much worth checking out.

If though you don’t catch it at cinemas, then Disney has confirmed that the movie will be available in homes this Christmas. It’s going to land on the Disney+ streaming service from December 8th, before getting a DVD and Blu-ray release in the UK on  December 15th.

Furthermore, the disc release will come with extra features too, that are listed as follows…

  • A Boy and His B*Bot: When Jack Met Zach– Zach Galifianakis and Jack Dylan Grazer, the voices behind Ron and Barney, sit down to chat about a fun assortment of topics. From social media to skateboarding, the two actors from two very different generations tell us all about when Jack met Zach.
  • Making Ron Right Join cast and crew behind the scenes as they reveal the skill, dedication and friendship it took to bring this film to life. From writing the script to the voice-over booth, Locksmith’s artisans detail how they made Ron right.
  • “Sunshine” Music Video– Song from the motion picture Ron’s Gone Wrong, performed by Liam Payne.
