John Kramer looks set to return to the world of Saw, with Tobin Bell being lined up to return for Saw 10: more here.
Following the release of last year’s Saw sort-of-sequel Spiral, it was pretty well known that Lionsgate was wanting to revisit the franchise again. It doesn’t seem though that there’s much appetite for a Spiral 2. Instead, Saw 10 looks like it’s going back into the heart of the main franchise line.
Saw 10 is reportedly looking to edge Tobin Bell – aka John Kramer/Jigsaw – back into the saga. According to One Take News, the plan is at the moment for a story set before the events of Saw III – if you can remember what happened in that one – and that should, spoiler-light, resolve some problems.
Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg have been hired to pen the screenplay for the movie, that remains in early development. Lots can still change of course, and we’ll bring more news as we hear it.
