Deborah Kay Davies’ book True Things About Me is heading to the screen.

Heading into production shortly is an adaptation of the book True Things About Me. The source book was penned by Deborah Kay Davies, and the film take on the material has been written by Molly Davies and Harry Wootliff.

Wootliff, who helmed the brilliant Only You, is also set to direct the picture.

Ruth Wilson is producing the film, and she’s also set to lead the cast. Also producing and starring is Jude Law. The movie is being backed by The Bureau and BBC Films too.

The story is about a woman who lives on society’s edge, who finds herself intoxicated by a strange. And the movie is due to film in the south-east of England this coming spring. We suspect that a 2021 release date is being eyed for the film, although that’s not been confirmed at this stage.

More on the movie as we hear it.
