The acclaimed American Horror Story actress Sarah Paulson is set to play a mother who must go to extraordinary lengths to protect her family in Dust.

Sarah Paulson, who had great success in 2020 with Netflix’s Run, is adding another horror film to her CV.

Dust is described as a horror thriller, in which Paulson will play a young mother trapped in a dust storm that has taken over Oklahoma in the 1930s. Not only that, but she must also battle a threatening presence to protect her family.

Claire Foy was originally slated to star in the film., but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts.

Will Jones and Kerrie Crouse direct from a script by Crouse.

A release date has not yet been announced. Paulson will next be seen in an adaptation of Bruce Norris’ Tony award winning play Clybourne Park, which is set to go into production soon.
