Scoob! was released back in the US in May, with no sign of a UK outing – but the film is finally arriving on demand over here from today.

Finally. Back in May, Warner Bros scrapped the planned theatrical release of animated Scooby Doo origins feature Scoob!, and announced that the film would be heading straight to on demand services instead.

This it duly did – in the US and Canada. For those of us elsewhere in the world, there wasn’t a dicky bird, as the planned cinema release came and went. Now, over a month since the film debuted elsewhere in the world, Warner Bros has confirmed that Scoob! will indeed finally getting a British release. It too will debut on demand, and it’s going to be available from – well, right now! – Friday July 10th.

Alongside it will be the Ben Affleck-headlined Finding The Way Back, which also had its cinema release in the States cancelled and was released on demand there a few weeks back.

The film costs £15.99 to rent, and you can find out more here.
