Scott Adkins and Ryan Phillippe star in continuous-shot action movie One Shot – and it’s heading to the UK at the end of the month.

Headlined by Scott Adkins and Ryan Phillippe, One Shot is finally getting a UK release courtesy of Sky Cinema.

The film, directed by James Nunn, popped up in the US towards the end of last year, and earned some good reviews too. It’s billed as a real time action film, as a SEAL team does battle against an enemy that seemingly has the odds stacked in their favour.

The film’s action takes place in one continuous shot – or at least the appearance of one continuous shot – and here’s a trailer to get you an idea as to what’s in store…

Sky has now confirmed that it’s picked the film up for Sky Cinema, and it’s going to be adding it to the service from January 29th. Note this one won’t be heading to cinemas though, as some Sky Cinema releases do. Still, we’re just glad it’s found a UK home.
