Shailene Woodley will star in new comedy Robots alongside comedian Jack Whitehall.

Shailene Woodley (The Mauritanian) is set to star in new comedy Robots, from one of the writers of Borat, Anthony Hines.

Woodley will co-star in the film with Jack Whitehall, as the pair have to hunt down robot doubles of each other who have fallen in love and fled.

Hines will co-direct the film with Casper Christensen, with production expected to start this August following sales at the Cannes Marketplace.

Woodley is known for her roles in dramas like The Descendants and The Fault In Our Stars, but can next be sign in romance The Last Letter From Your Lover. Whitehall has built a name for himself in comedy, with his next big screen role to be in Disney’s long awaited Jungle Cruise.
