Shaka King and the team behind Judas And The Black Messiah are re-teaming for a new film, centered around an American political insurrection.

Shaka King, director and co-writer of Judas And The Black Messiah is teaming back up with his producing partners including Ryan Coogler (Black Panther), Charles D. King (Sorry To Bother You) and Lil Rel Howery (Get Out) for a new film project, centered around an American political insurrection.

Not much is known about the project yet, but King will once again be co-writing and directing the feature, his third film following Judas and 2013’s Newlyweeds.

With Coogler busy working on the follow up to Black Panther, and a script for this new film yet to be penned, we might not be hearing about this one again for a while, but having made such a global impact with Judas And The Black Messiah, expect to hear big things when it nears completion.
