The Mark Wahlberg-headlined Shooter has been selected for a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release, and it’s heading to the UK in March.
Quite where on the wishlist of 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray fans the Mark Wahlberg-headlined action flick Shooter stood when it came to catalogue releases is anybody’s guess. Still, here we are.
Presumably for Paramount this has been a good catalogue title seller, and also, it’s an action movie that should provide a decent home cinema workout too. Antoine Fuqua directs, and the cast also includes Michael Pena and Rhona Mitra too.
The film heads to the 4K disc format from March 14th 2022, and it’s a Steelbook release that it’s getting. No details as of yet on extra features, but the best assumption based on past experience is don’t expect anything new in that department, and be surprised if anything more turns up.
UPDATE: there’s a cheaper, non-Steelbook version on the way too, on the same day.
