Film Stories live shows are returning – and the first will be taking place in Birmingham in June: ticket details right here.

We’re delighted to announce the return of Film Stories live shows, that had just started to get going before, well, everything happened.

Our show, Simon Brew: Movie Geek Live, will be back at the Midlands Arts Centre in Birmingham on Wednesday June 23rd. We’re forsaking any income from it ourselves to help support the MAC, but also, we’ll be bringing 90 minutes of movie nerdism with us. Possibly a little quiz too. Who knows?!

The MAC is operating at reduced capacity, and the room will have a social distancing seating plan in place. Full visitor guidelines are here, and an awful lot of work has been put in to make your visit as safe and enjoyable as possible.

As for the show?

Well, if you’ve not been to one before, it involves Simon chatting about film, showing clips, interviewing special guests (where possible!) and generally nerding on about the movies. Plus, your chance to submit questions too.

Tickets are on sale now, and you can find them here:

We’re also talking to the Chapeltown Picture House in Manchester, incidentally, with a view to bringing the show up the motorway. And – finally! – a Film Stories show is heading to London if all goes to plan too. We’ll keep you posted…
