1952’s wonderful Singin’ In The Rain is heading to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray to help celebrate its 70th birthday: more information here.

An all-time classic is heading to the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format next month, with the confirmation that Warner Bros is set to release Singin’ In The Rain.

Starring Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O’Connor, I only personally watched this for the first time a couple of years again, and it’s a flat-out blast of joy. A film that genuinely earns its classic status.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release comes in a collector’s edition that features not just the film, but also a 48-page booklet, five lobby cards, three original theatrical door panels, a double sided poster and, er, a computer sticker.

The release – which comes in special packaging too – is set for April 25th 2022, and it’s available for preorder now. You can find more information on it, and pick yourself up a copy, right here.
